An accomplished multimedia artist who works in glass, video, sculpture and drawing, Biddle grew up in New York State, and currently lives and works in Philadelphia. "My work explores some of the landscapes I have had the opportunity to recently visit," she says. "My attention is drawn to nature, such as the amazing diversity of lichens in Scotland or the system of growth of a tree branch in Maine, becoming more delicate the newer the growth." The work featured in Gravitational Pull is a combination of drawings, videos, metal and glass sculptures, and a wall installation.

Biddle received her BFA in glass from the Rhode Island School of Design and her MFA from the Virginia Commonwealth University School of the Arts. She has attended many residencies including one at Northlands Creative Glass in Scotland. She has exhibited at national and international venues, including in Columbus OH, Richmond VA, New York City, Czech Republic and Iceland. Her work has been published in New Glass Review and was recently acquired for the American Embassy's permanent collection in Riga, Latvia. Her website is: www.meganbiddle.com
